Hi subscribers to CBJ’s COVID-19 information emails:

Apologies once again for the lack of communication this past week and a half. CBJ encountered another technological issue with the COVID-19 email subscription list. The issue has been resolved and you should begin receiving COVID-related CBJ information releases today.

The big news since November 2 – which is when the emails stopped going through – is the arrival of the pediatric COVID-19 vaccine for ages 5-11. Clinics took place on Monday and Tuesday, and there’s still one more on Thursday, November 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Riverbend Elementary School. Sign up at juneau.org/vaccine or call 586-6000. Again, my sincere apologies for the lack of communication, especially on this matter.

Here’s a compilation of all the COVID-19 related information releases I issued since November 2 that, unfortunately, did not make it to your inbox:

Nov. 2: State reports 10 new COVID-19 cases for Juneau

Nov. 3: CDC recommends COVID-19 vaccine for ages 5-11; clinic registration opens noon on Thursday and State reports 14 new COVID-19 cases for Juneau

Nov. 4: State reports 15 new COVID-19 cases for Juneau

Nov. 5: COVID-19 vaccine registration for ages 5-11 is open now; clinics start Monday and State reports 17 new COVID-19 cases for Juneau

Nov. 8: State reports 23 new COVID-19 cases for Juneau & 53 additional deaths statewide

Nov. 9: Pediatric COVID-19 vaccine clinics happening this week in Juneau; register your 5-11 year-old and State reports seven new COVID-19 cases & one death for Juneau

Thank you for your continued reading and interest,
