Registration for Parks & Recreation Youth Volleyball opens Tuesday, March 1

Registration for Parks & Recreation’s Youth Volleyball for grades 4-5 and 6-8 opens Tuesday, March 1. Registration runs through March 13 and costs $55. Late registration starting March 14 will incur a $10 late fee. Register online (look under “Youth & Teen”) starting 8 a.m. on Tuesday, March 1.

This is a great opportunity for youth to learn a new sport or improve their volleyball skills. The season runs mid-April through the beginning of June. Teams – all coed – will practice once a week for one hour. Games will take place on Saturday between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Scholarships are available. To apply, fill out a paper Volleyball Registration Form and a scholarship form

Youth Volleyball relies on volunteer coaches and parent volunteers. If you’re interested, contact Recreation Coordinator Amanda Lovejoy at 907-586-2635 ext. 4156 or amanda.lovejoy@juneau.org for more information.

Again, registration for Youth Volleyball starts 8 a.m. Tuesday, March 1. Register online, or fill out the paper Volleyball Registration Form. Registration is first-come, first-served. All registrations received after the session is full will be placed on a waitlist.
